DC June 8, 2012 – Susan M. Dadio of ATFirm.com was sworn in as
President of the Bar Association
of the District of Columbia (BADC) (www.badc.org) by the Honorable
Chief Judge Eric T. Washington of the DC Court of Appeals, on June 8,
2012 at the historic Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC. Susan
M. Dadio is partner with ATFirm,
an intellectual property (IP) boutique law firm based in Washington, DC
(www.atfirm.com). The firm focuses on the enforcement and procurement
of IP rights for its clients.
Ms. Dadio is an experienced trial lawyer and
former partner and chair of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney’s
Biotechnology Group. Ms. Dadio focuses on complex, patent litigation with
emphasis in biotechnology, pharmaceutical and chemical arts. She also
uses her litigation experience and patent prosecution background to
counsel and assist clients with all types of strategic patent matters,
including procurement and portfolio management, due diligence and
opinions, patent term extensions, reexaminations, and
interferences. Ms. Dadio was also previously a partner with Burns, Doane, Swecker &
Mathis, LLP prior to its merger with Buchanan.
